I have been a member of the Royal Society of Queensland for a number of years now.

In 2019 I volunteered to design and operate a "Street Science" booth at the World Science Festival Brisbane.

I secured some learned helpers from both The Royal Society of Queensland and the Queensland Science Network.

It was an amazing weekend with over 95,000 visitors to the festival, many of whom visited our booth.

It was an honor to receive The Governor's Medal from The Governor of Queensland, His Excellency the Honorable Paul de Jersey AC.

This was made at the official launch of the of the Queensland Science Network, of which the Royal Society of Qld is the foundation member.

It was inspiring to be in a room of over
200 of Queensland's top scientists, representing the 28 member associations.
In 2019 I was invited to join a small group of students for an extensive STEM program in the USA.

The highlights were:
  • 3 days of Research at the NASA Research Centre in the Mojave desert with Dr Rosalba Bonaccorsi.
  • NASA Ames Research Centre
  • NASA JPL
  • Seti Institute
  • Meetings with senior management at Amazon, Google, Amazon and Apple.
  • Guests at the Luskin Summit
  • Student meetings at UC Berkley, UCLA, Stanford, Caltech and USC.

I landed back in Australia more certain than ever that I had found my purpose in science.
                       Thank you USA !

The Quest Challenge is an international contest of creativity, and problem solving. With regional, state and national rounds, each round requires a full day of competition.

In partnership with a number of universities, such as The University of Queensland, University of Southern Queensland, Australian Catholic University, Wollongong University, Monash University, the Quest Competition is held each year in Australia and in our region internationally.

In 2020 I was awarded first place in Physics in the National finals with the only perfect score in the competition.

In 2019 I placed  4th in Mathematics.

Finalist in the 2020 SCINEMA International Science Film Festival for my 3 minute video "Wave Particle Duality and the Double Slit Experiment".

Judges comments: "Lots of clear technical information and good demonstration of a complex topic”,   “A thorough explanation of wave-particle duality, I liked the home demo in particular”.  "So well done, you should be really proud of yourself, keep it up!"

The Perimeter Institute is a leading centre for scientific research, training and educational outreach in foundational theoretical physics.

Founded in Ontario Canada in 1999 its mission is to advance our understanding of the universe at the most fundamental level, stimulating the breakthroughs that could transform our future.

I have completed an online course with PI on the fascinating topic of
Quantum Mechanics.

This required attending 15 hours of online lectures and coursework.

Thanks to the amazing lecturers, it was very interesting and I really learned a lot.
The Australian Institute of Physics has awarded me a "Certificate of Excellence" in 2021 for my Senior Project on the Lorentz Effect.
This is a prestigious award given to students whom have a completed a school based project as part of their final year, and who excelled in their project to a level beyond the scope of the school curriculum. The AIP is the peak professional body for professional physicists in Australia.

Me at 8 years old. I loved Pokemon and Lord of the Rings. I loved science even then and my favourite YouTube Channel was Kurzgesagt.  You can imagine my surprise when they edited me into my favourite video for my Birthday...  look for me at 2:40, 3:15 & 4:49.  I think the resemblance is pretty good!
