Life is an ADVENTURE!
I absolutely love getting out into the Australian bush and exploring the mountains, rivers, oceans and rock faces.
I was very lucky that my school, Hillbrook, had outdoor activities as a core part of our curriculum. With full time dedicated Outdoor Education staff, we went on numerous, quite arduous, multi-day hiking trips, snow skiing and even scuba diving.
I regularly go Running, Hiking & Camping, Rock Climbing and Scuba Diving. I have also completed the Duke of Edinburgh Awards:
-
Awarded Bronze in 2018
-
Awarded Silver in 2019
-
Completed Gold in Jan 2022

On 23 May 2020 I was very excited to be accepted into
The Explorers Club as a student member!
This has for a been a dream of mine since I was 12, and I lodged my application and essays as soon as I turned 16. Thank you to the Board of The Explorers Club for accepting me!
Founded in New York City in 1904, The Explorers Club promotes the scientific exploration of land, sea, air, and space by supporting research and education in the physical, natural and biological sciences. The Club’s members have been responsible for an illustrious series of famous firsts: First to the North Pole, first to the South Pole, first to the summit of Mount Everest, first to the deepest point in the ocean, first to the surface of the moon—all accomplished by our members.

I always take the same perspective with each new adventure. I put myself in the position of being at the end of my life looking back. Then I ask myself if what I am doing is important to me.
